I am an ANCC board-certified and licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I am experienced, caring, and empathetic. I earned my Master of Science in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from New York University, where I focused on psychopharmacology and multiple psychotherapy treatment modalities. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University and my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Elizabeth University.
Before joining Rivia Mind, I worked as a PMHNP at RWJBH-Somerset Hospital for many years and worked with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, addiction, and eating disorders. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ population at the hospital’s Babs Siperstein PROUD Center. I have over 14 years of experience working with those struggling with mental health issues. I have excellent clinical skills, expert knowledge, and a passion for treating those with mental health concerns.
In 2017, I received an Advanced Practice Provider Award for Excellence in Professional Practice from RWJBH-Somerset Hospital. I am committed to delivering care with a supportive, non-judgmental, empathetic approach.
