Dr. Fligelman is a board-certified psychiatrist who graduated from one of the top medical schools in the country at Mount Sinai and is currently an Assistant Professor within the Mount Sinai System. He has extensive training in psychopharmacology and has obtained additional training in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy. To gain therapeutic proficiency, he completed formal and informal fellowships at New York Psychoanalytic Institute and Rose Hill Psychological Services.

Dr. Fligelman specializes in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attention issues, problems with sleep, work and relationship issues. He has been able to help hundreds of people who struggle to feel good about themselves, to lead satisfying lives, and those feeling trapped by their inner experiences and external circumstances.

Dr. Fligelman takes non-judgmental and compassionate approaches to his patients and clients. His goal is to help people understand and address the source of their challenges or emotional pain. Dr. Fligelman offers therapy, medication treatment or both and works closely with patients and clients to figure out the right treatment for them. He understands that it’s not about imposing an external standard but rather about helping people get to where they want to be.

Dr. Fligelman is currently working remotely via audio-visual sessions. He has flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends. His sessions are thirty to forty five minutes in length depending on the type of treatment that is conducted. He works with people over eighteen years old of all cultural backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities. Before committing to an intake, he offers free consultations to determine the fit and answer any questions.
