Message to clients

Modern life pulls us in many directions and at times we can feel off balance. It is at these times that self doubt and isolation can increase and our thoughts, moods and behaviors become difficult to understand and regulate.
If you or your child is struggling, let's start with a conversation. I am a reliable, responsible and accessible physician who can augment the work you are currently doing with a therapist with medication, or streamline your treatment with one appointment that will provide both services.
Working together, you can expect an individual tailored treatment plan that is evidence based and rooted in both biological and psychological sciences. I will provide a comfortable space where you can feel safe and vulnerable to talk about all the things that are important to you.

Anxiety - Generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks

Body dysmorphic disorder - Addressing any obsessive focus on a perceived flaw in appearance.

Depression - Sleep and energy disruption, overall mood disturbance, inability to enjoy yourself, and difficulty being motivated, amongst many other symptoms

Eating disorders - Including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, purging; not wanting to give up the eating disorder; feeling lonely but struggling to eat with friends

Trauma - Including dealing with past sexual assault, childhood trauma, environmental trauma (e.g. witnessing/experiencing violence), PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

Young adult behavioral health - Navigating interpersonal, emotional, and behavioral transitions as an emerging adult and college student

Client testimonials

Brown University student

I see Dr. K and I LOVE her! She is always interested in talking about me than just medication. She is very easy to talk to and was extremely helpful when I was unable to see her for an appointment over the summer, but still needed a medication refill. She was very responsive via email and phone. I would absolutely recommend her!
