He provides a welcoming, nonjudgemental, space to allow you to work toward a better understanding and acceptance of yourself, as well as helping you to feel your best. He is an expert in assisting children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigate the stressors associated with development (including those complicated by psychological/emotional distress) with a focus on assisting individuals to feel confident in understanding and developing their own identity consistent with the values they hold most dear.

Message to clients

I have worked throughout my academic and professional career to make myself accessible as a person and psychiatrist. I work very hard to create an environment where you can speak openly and honestly about your life and the things that are preventing you or your child from being the best "you." I want to help you feel confident and more able to do and get the things that are important to you out of life. I know it may be difficult to face personal struggles (anxiety, sadness, loss, grief, change, relationship distress, identity struggles, etc.), yet I will work to create a caring space where we can work together to assist you to access your talents, help you to realize or remember the abilities you have, as well as learn new ways to manage stress to grow and flourish. I will work with you to create an individual (and or family) treatment plan. If you are struggling with an illness that would benefit from medication, we can discuss options that may benefit your particular situation/diagnosis. I also provide therapy and medication (if needed) in one appointment if that is more appropriate for your circumstance. What is most important is to feel comfortable and heard, and I will do everything I can to make our work together collaborative.
