Message to clients

I know that seeking psychiatric care can feel like a big step, whether you're looking for help for yourself or for your child. My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and asking questions. When working with children and adolescents, I also believe that parents and caregivers are essential partners in treatment. I strive to help families better understand what their child is experiencing and work together to develop a plan that supports growth, resilience, and long-term success.

I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to treatment, using medication only when it is likely to provide meaningful benefit and always considering the whole person—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I want every patient to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in making decisions about their care. Whether I'm treating a young child, a teenager, or an adult, my hope is that you leave each appointment with greater clarity, confidence, and a clear path forward.

I provide all appointments through secure telepsychiatry, allowing you to access care from the comfort of your home. Between appointments, I strive to respond to patient messages within one business day, so you can feel supported throughout your treatment. I look forward to meeting you and helping you or your family achieve lasting emotional well-being.

PLEASE NOTE, DR. TAMIRISA DOES NOT TREAT ADD/ADHD OR PRESCRIBE ANY CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
