Message to clients

I know it can be difficult at times to talk about the problems that you face. So much of the time, we're expected to project an image of ourselves as successful, happy, funny, smart, or tough. But I would encourage you to give yourself permission to not have to face your worries alone. This is a place where you can talk openly and not feel judged. Together, we can work towards identifying and changing the things that in your life that are keeping you from feeling your best.

For men: It's no secret that traditionally, men are much less likely than women to seek mental health care. Sometimes, even the idea of asking for help can conflict with strongly ingrained social norms about needing to be tough. A the same time though, so many of the issues that men face can be quite impairing to our functioning and disruptive to the relationships with the people we love the most.
