As a therapist and former yoga teacher, Abbe unpacks how clients experience anxiety, depression, and past traumas in their bodies. Some might feel frozen, stuck, or unable to take action. By addressing the holistic connection between mental and physical health, clients can create strategies to overcome their struggles.
Abbe mainly works with women to address feelings of guilt and anxiety, improve self esteem, create better relationships, and learn to advocate for themselves. She sees many women struggle to create healthy boundaries or express their needs because of social conditioning.
In her work, Abbe asks many open questions and uses aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to facilitate growth. Therapy with Abbe is a space where women can build confidence, strengthen their sense of self, and learn to listen to their inner voice.
