Alba Colmenares Moore, a culturally sensitive, bilingual National Certified Mental Health Counselor, is licensed in both Virginia and Florida. With a Master of Science in Counseling, a Specialization in Project Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Alba brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She is also a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
Alba’s extensive training includes evidence-based curricula such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-Post Disaster Training, Circle of Security Facilitator, Nurturing Parents Program, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Over her 25+ years of experience, Alba has worked with individuals, couples, and families in various capacities: as a clinician, clinical supervisor, coach, and trainer. Her approach is grounded in a strong psychodynamic foundation, and she tailors her clinical modalities to meet the unique needs of each client.
