Alexis Reed is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Dayton. She enjoys working with teenagers, young adults, adults, and older adults from a variety of backgrounds and wanting support of different needs such as life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. She also supports couples and families looking to improve their relationships by exploring relational and communication patterns.
With a background in movement and dietetics, Reed believes that well-being is best viewed from a holistic lens and that it is not just physical health but emotional and mental health. Reed’s undergrad at Ohio University, where she obtained a B.S.S. in Dance Somatics & Human Health, and Masters of Counseling from Northwestern University have led her to work in a variety of settings; hospital, in-patient dual diagnosis rehab, and group private practice. These experiences, coupled with Reed's love of somatic practices (dance, Pilates, and yoga) have led Reed to prefer an integrative approach when it comes to psychotherapy. She prefers to employ cognitive-behavioral, didactic-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, Adlerian, collaborative, goal-oriented approaches, and others, during session.
Reed offers both in-person and HIPPA complaint telehealth options. Reed's office is in a central location, close to several interstates, for those in the greater-Dayton area. Reed is able to offer telehealth (video) to those in the state of Ohio.
Reed currently is working to get credentialed with major insurances, but offers self-pay during the interim.

This provider can support you in getting reimbursement from your insurance company if you are seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Here are the out-of-network billing options they provide:
Frequency of sessions this provider offers to see clients once you are an established client.
I am working to get paneled with major insurances [insurances that are frequent flyers in both Dayton and Ohio]. I do offer self-pay options ($125/intake, $100/subsequent) and bill for a fifty minute hour. This is to allow me to ensure I have all documents properly done between sessions as well as practice my own self-care.
I can also create a "super bill" if you are choosing to utilize out of network benefits, that you then submit to your insurance for reimbursment.
