Professional statement

Allison’s priority is to continue to develop her understanding on how different therapeutic techniques and modalities best suit certain demographics by continuing her work with diverse populations and individuals with unique backgrounds. She is passionate about working in a holistic way that understands the dangers of over pathologizing without meeting the human first.

Message to clients

I am a thoughtful, patient therapist, who strives to meet my clients where they are. I understand that every client is unique in their therapeutic needs, so I utilize a variety of techniques that will benefit each individual client. I have experience working with diverse clientele and understand that everyone is deserving of mental health services that reflect their needs. I do not shy away from broaching topics of race and culture, as I know firsthand how our socialized identities can inform the struggles we encounter.
