Professional statement

Ashley Sharpe is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and stress related to relationships or career paths. She takes a flexible and personalized approach to therapy, creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Her style is collaborative and grounded in practical strategies, helping clients build skills for everyday life while gaining deeper insight into their experiences.

Ashley draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, always focusing on finding what works best for each individual so they can feel more confident, supported, and able to move forward in a meaningful way. She is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating women's issues, anxiety, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. She finds it meaningful to support clients as they reconnect with their strengths, build confidence, and create lasting positive change — especially during times of uncertainty or growth.

Ashley has always been drawn to understanding people and supporting them through life's challenges, which is what inspired her to become a therapist. Her work is grounded in the belief that people are resilient and capable of change, even when they may not yet see it in themselves. She approaches each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect, recognizing that everyone carries a unique story.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you are used to carrying things on your own or are unsure where to begin. My hope is that our work together feels like a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, self-esteem challenges, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, personalized, and empowering. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build practical tools for everyday life, and reconnect with the strengths you already have within you. I value authenticity, compassion, and open communication, and I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.

Most importantly, I want you to know that meaningful change is possible. Healing and growth do not happen overnight, but you do not have to navigate difficult seasons alone. I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they gain confidence, deepen self-awareness, and create positive change in their lives, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

I am currently accepting new clients and would be happy to connect with you. You can schedule an appointment using the Book Appointment button on my profile or contact our Patient Liaison Team at the number listed above.
