Cappy Silver

Cappy Silver is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Lakeview, Chicago who specializes in relationship and couples therapy. Many of her clients have found success in their careers, yet find themselves struggling in relationships, and are seeking to get to the root of their challenges. Her practice is open to couples at all stages of their relationship, and to couples of all genders and sexualities.

Cappy frequently works with individuals to help them understand how early childhood experiences contribute to the ways they act in relationships now. When working with couples, she encourages each partner to share their perspective, and decide together on treatment goals. Often, they problem-solve issues around in-law relationships, financial strain or values, parenting challenges, and communication. Trained in the Gottman method of couples counseling, Cappy uses tools to help couples heighten intimacy and interpersonal growth
