Licensed Social Worker, LSW Practice: Resilience Lab Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsChristi has been working in the mental health field for about 7 years, and as a therapist for about 4 years. They specifically chose to become a licensed social worker in terms of providing therapy because they have an appreciation for the approach of seeing an individual through the lens of not just who they are as a person, but all of the intersections of their identities, systems and institutions that have an impact as well and how all of these things converge. They recognize that every person is unique when it comes to treatment, and they will tailor their approach to what will best benefit you. They will work in collaboration with you to create goals for you to achieve in therapy and work alongside you to achieve those goals. They will follow your lead and meet you where you are on your personal journey. They will assist you in breaking down your goals into small, manageable pieces that feel realistic and achievable, instead of overwhelming. They have worked with people with a variety of identities and backgrounds, though their personal experience and knowledge extends particularly to the LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM, and polyamorous/ENM communities.
