Chris has a diverse range of experience in several aspects of criminal law with an associate degree in Paralegal, a bachelor's degree in Criminal Behavior/ Psychology, and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling specializing in Forensic Counseling. With her expertise in Forensic Counseling, she has also completed Play Therapy Certification requirements, she is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist – Individual (CCTS-I), and also completed EMDRIA training in Eye Movement Reprocessing Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Chris can assist with trauma history with EMDR.
Chris is a forensic mental health professional that provides specialized psychological mental health and assessment services to clients associated with the court. Each assessment and treatment is individual to the case. Counseling children between conflicts is assisted with an awareness of co-parenting children together, with the child’s needs in mind. The treatment needs of forensic clients can be as diverse as the cases themselves.
Chris is a wife of a Fire Captain, and has a deep understanding of the stressors of First Responders, she has the knowledge and experience to counsel and treat this niche as well. Chris utilizes the best therapy strategy for you.
Chris was a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a high profile child abuse case. She has worked in the Criminal Superior Court of Arizona, Maricopa County Sheriffs Office; Classification, Department of Corrections; Time Computation, and has worked for several law firms in Arizona.

Adolescent mental health - Working with adolescents, teenagers, and parents on social, academic, and/or emotional challenges throughout teenage years; addressing anxiety, family conflicts, peer relationships, school stress, transition to college, social media pressures, self-esteem, hopelessness about the future, emotional disregulation
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Child mental health - Chris uses Play Therapy to assist the child with communicating their thoughts. Specialized strategies for common childhood disorders including attention issues, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum diagnoses, and feeding or elimination issues. Chris gives psych-education to assist the parent to learn with the child at home.
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
