Professional statement

My name is Courtney Malcolm . My therapeutic approach is relational, emphasizing the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship to foster healthier connections with yourself and others. If you're feeling dissatisfied with your current life, I am here to support you in creating the life you desire. My client-centered approach ensures that you remain at the forefront of our sessions, providing feedback, encouragement, and exploring your choices together.

I recognize that each individual is unique, and I strive to meet you where you are, helping you navigate your journey toward where you want to be. I believe that the most profound healing occurs through self-understanding—recognizing how we perceive the world and how those perceptions influence our lives. I am confident that everyone has the potential to achieve the life they envision, although it requires time and commitment.

Message to clients

I am passionate about the work I do, and it is an honor to witness your personal story and be invited into your life. In addition to relational therapy, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you shift negative thinking patterns, heal from trauma, and improve your relationships.

I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and by watching this video, you've already taken the first step—congratulations! I look forward to connecting with you. Together, we can work on establishing healthy boundaries, learning that "no" is a complete sentence, and fostering reciprocal relationships where you don’t feel like you’re always giving without receiving. We will also focus on building your self-esteem and self-worth in a non-judgmental environment.
