Crystal Deichert is a Dually Licensed Therapist in Hawaii and Colorado. She works with individuals and couples. Many of Crystal’s individual clients come in to address feelings of depression and anxiety. Couples come looking to improve their connection with one another. Crystal is particularly passionate about helping client’s find their own passion and purpose.
Crystal is trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Inner Parts Work. She helps clients examine their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors to understand what is and isn't working, so they can make meaningful changes in their life.
Crystal's style is authentic, compassionate, and direct. When clients first start therapy, she works to help her clients feel seen, heard, and understood. In session, Crystal focuses on identifying the root of the problem, while addressing the symptoms. This approach supports clients to feel more empowered, safe, and able to live a life that feels genuine and authentic to who they are.
Crystal received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of Phoenix. She has worked at residential centers and community mental health centers, where she gained experience working with clients of all ages and diagnoses, was trained in differential diagnosis, and received extensive training in several different therapeutic modalities. She also began helping other therapists grow personally and professionally.
Outside of private practice, she enjoys being in nature, especially in the ocean surfing, snorkeling, and swimming with her family. Crystal offers telehealth session to everyone, and in-person to those on Maui.
