Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSWCrystal Ross is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and is licensed in both Texas and Connecticut. Crystal is currently working under supervision to obtain her clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), which is required and essential in obtaining her LCSW. What supervision means for Crystal's clients is that discussions will be made regarding certain topics and/or issues within sessions with clients, the negatives and positives within sessions, and advice will be shared with other supervisees and supervisors. Please be aware that all specified information regarding clients (i.e., client’s name, living location, details of what the client looks like, etc.) or any information that could easily identify the client, will NOT be disclosed during supervision.
Although new to the therapeutic field, Crystal has worked with a verity of clients ranging from neurodivergent individuals, individuals with personality disorders, victims of sexual identity and other related sex issues, couples, etc. Crystal is not yet specialized in any particular treatment/intervention, though she is open to work with a verity of issues and enjoys incorporating Cognitive Behaviors Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness into all of her sessions. Crystal works in a non-judgmental and open-minded environment that leads her clients with the secure space to talk about anything they want at the pace and time they need.
All sessions at this time will be virtual. The first session will be an assessment of needs for all new clients. Meaning the first session will discuss the client’s need for services, what they are looking to get out of therapy, where they hope to see themselves after therapy, what their current situation(s) that they would like to focus on, client’s expectations of therapy and their expectations of the therapist, etc.
