I know what it's like to be a caregiver of my loved ones and I specialize in serving those in similar situations. I may be the therapist for you if: 1) You're feeling burned out & overwhelmed with caring for your loved one 2) You’re hoping to work with someone who can help you move through emotions that come with choosing to prioritize your needs while caring for your loved one because you no longer want to pour from an empty cup 3) You want to learn practical tools for self-care that don't require a full day off or even to leave the room where your loved one is in.
YOU are your longest relationship and I know (both personally and professionally) we are not always taught the "how" of what caring for ourselves looks like. I am passionate about helping my clients learn what their version of sustainable and realistic self-care is by helping them to create a sustainable menu of coping options to suit their various resource levels.
I appreciate the efforts you put forward for your loved one and appreciate you being open to engaging in a conversation about your life. Caring for loved ones can take up a lot of space and incredibly isolating and it is important that you know that you are not alone. Feel free to reach out to schedule a free phone consultation to see if we are a good match.
