Dr. Dan utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in his work with couples and has received advanced training in using this highly effective framework. He is also trained to utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which is one of the most researched and effective frameworks. Mindfulness, Attachment and Learning are also at the core of working with Dr. Dan as he blends a unique style of building bodily awareness and teaching how and why humans have developed the coping skills and defensive mechanisms that they have. This awareness and teaching is central to change and growth.
Dr. Dan has studied human relationships and behavior both in and out of school his whole life. A lifelong learner, he has two post-graduate degrees, two children, two cats, and a wealth of experience from traveling throughout the US and other countries. Dr. Dan has also been a lifelong athlete and continues to explore the limits of partnership and self-reflection while adventuring outside and rock climbing in remote areas.
