Danielle Winter (née Natman) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Midtown Manhattan who specializes in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, depression, anxiety, couples counseling, and stress management. She has extensive experience working with clients with a history of childhood trauma and attachment issues, as well as clients going through life transitions or those who are navigating relationship issues. She sees adults across the lifespan.

With extensive training in trauma recovery, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, Danielle utilizes a variety of treatment techniques. Danielle incorporates the Gottman Method when working with couples. Danielle is also trained in attachment-focused EMDR by the Parnell Institute for the treatment of trauma recovery. Her sessions are client-centered and focused on helping clients make behavioral changes. In addition, Danielle works with her clients to explore thought and life patterns, and how these patterns affect them on a day-to-day basis, in a supportive environment.

Danielle works collaboratively with her clients to explore ways to achieve a happier and healthier life. She is currently an associate at a group practice, Thrive Psychotherapy. She received her MSW the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Her office is conveniently located near the orange, yellow, blue, and red lines, and the PATH train.
