Professional statement

In Sanskrit, the definition of “therapist” is, "To Teach and to Heal." This is the basis of the therapeutic facilitation that I provide.

I practice “Client Centered Therapy“ developed by Dr. Carl Rogers. This is based on acceptance and encouragement, affirming your path through your emotional, spiritual, and interpersonal growth.

This approach restores your faith in yourself and your strength in making thoughtful and appropriate decisions for yourself, no matter what the impediments may be.

It is within this context that you begin to recognize your value and your direction, clearing away any issue within your past that has impeded your growth in the present

Most importantly, I help you to take life a little more easily and accept the person you have been, enjoy the person you are, and look forward to the person you will become.

Message to clients

Engaging your life with a therapist is equivalent to hiring a Sherpa to guide you up a mountain.

I don’t tell you how to climb, I just suggest where you might place your next step. I assist in making the journey of your life can be a little easier.

Everyone comes to therapy equipped with their own tools for healing. They may be a little out of consistent use, and that’s OK. I help you find them an rediscover and strengthen their application in this chapter of your life.
