Professional statement

The impacts of trauma can weigh down the spirit. During therapy, Eman’s clients explore difficult experiences so they can drop what’s too heavy, lighten their load, and look forward to a brighter tomorrow.

Many of Eman’s clients are working through depression, anxiety, and relationship issues stemming from traumatic experiences. She also works with survivors of domestic or intimate partner violence to heal from abusive behavior and establish healthy relationship boundaries.

Using cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management strategies, and mindfulness techniques, Eman gives clients tools to free themselves from old patterns that no longer serve them. After clearing away these unhelpful ways of being, Eman’s clients have a strong, hopeful foundation for rebuilding their lives, developing new perspectives, and cultivating their sense of resilience.

Message to clients

Everything you need to grow and heal is already inside of you. Sometimes, all it takes is the support of a therapist to bring out your strengths, confidence, and courage to make meaningful life changes.

My goal is to understand how past experiences impact your present so we can heal them from the root. We’ll also identify coping strategies for moving through difficult emotions or memories so you can show up for yourself with more compassion and confidence. As a result of our time together, you’ll fortify your inner strength and identify strategies for creating new, positive life experiences that nurture your sense of wholeness, optimism, and hope.

Providing a window into the deeply painful and personal parts of your life takes bravery. It would be an honor to work with you to make sense of all the experiences, memories, and beliefs that make up your internal world. Let’s begin the work of healing, together.
