She utilizes a holistic and person-centered approach to treatment, focusing on authentic connection and rooting to thrive, not just survive day-to-day. Erica is passionate about supporting clients experiencing life transitions, feelings of stress and anxiety, and seeking to increase self-understanding.
Erica is trained in Art Therapy, which uses art, creating, metaphor, expression, and imagery as part of the therapeutic process to assist in accessing and processing emotions. Her therapeutic approach is based in art, mindfulness, and client empowerment. She is direct and compassionate, and seeks to create a safe haven for clients to explore their emotions, identity, and become comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Erica received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. She gained experience through working at a community mental health agency, eating-disorder inpatient care, hospice and palliative care, and group practices which enables her to offer a supportive and comprehensive approach. Erica recognizes the ability to connect with others in their vulnerability as an honor and works to continue serving as a counselor who is aware, open, and informed. She offers the flexibility of remote therapy sessions as well as in-person sessions.
