Message to clients

I have a flexible schedule and will make every effort to offer you appointments that fit in to your busy life without long waiting periods between appointments. I only take the number of patients at one given time who I can accommodate and help in a timely manner. Therapy begins with an intake session so we can become more familiar with each other, and, for me to complete a history and assessment of your lifestyle, family system, education, health and employment. I want to understand everything about you so we can collaborate effectively to set and achieve your therapy goals.

I stay current with new techniques, theories and therapeutic strategies. I regularly consult with colleagues, and, have a great network of therapists to whom I can refer if someone needs assistance out of my skill set. I write a monthly mental health piece for a local newsletter. Recent topics are: relationships, setting self-improvement goals, how to develop resilience, and how to stop feeling unnecessarily guilty.

In order to provide the best possible care, I only offer in-person therapy sessions. Zoom, phone, and Facetime sessions may be available under some circumstances only after a course of in-office sessions.
