Master of Social Work, MSWGeorgia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering teletherapy services to clients throughout Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Although her specialty is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), she is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure therapy (PE). She also has over 10 years of experience as an active-duty counselor and a clinician at the VA addressing trauma, anxiety, and depression. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and history and her master's degree in social work. She completed my master-level internship with the VA Hospital and continued as an employee, providing mental health services and earning her LCSW. Having been inspired by her clients at the VA, she was commissioned into the Navy as an officer, providing clinical counseling services to active-duty members and families focusing on embedded mental health and suicide prevention. In her clinical practice, she specializes in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and enjoys working with clients struggling with trauma and anxiety.
