Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit, MHC-LP Practice: Resilience LabGinger approaches challenges with realistic optimism and emphasizes boundaries, creative self-care, and people’s strengths.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Ginger tailors treatment to each client’s needs and uses several techniques to facilitate healing, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, internal family systems therapy, and somatic psychotherapies. Her style is flexible and patient, although she can be direct if it’s helpful for clients to hear!
Ginger starts by getting to know her client. Then, she’ll address the issues that feel most urgent to them—whether that’s getting something off their chest, learning new coping skills, creating new habits, or processing past experiences. It’s okay if they’re not sure what they need yet. Ginger is here to help.
