Professional statement

Hana is a licensed master-level social worker with Virtual Counselors.

In Hana's work, she strives to support you in reaching your highest potential and to create your best life as you see fit.

Hana provide a non-judgmental space where you can be as open as you feel comfortable, so together you can work towards any goals that you may have. Hana is a good listener and is empathetic, and will be honest and open with you at all times.

Hana's services focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, adoption, racial issues, and PTSD. Hana attempts to stay solution-focused and you will learn new skills that can carry over to your life outside of counseling to maintain your independence as you see fit. You will look at the areas in your life and in yourself that you may want to change or build upon, so that a plan can be created to move forward to a brighter future.

Message to clients

Sometimes people can underestimate the positive influence of just having someone to talk to, even if it is just one time per week. During our sessions, I urge you to be as open as you feel comfortable so that we can begin to explore the presenting issues. My goal for you is to leave our sessions feeling at least a bite more reassured and a bit more at ease. Counseling can be difficult and awkward sometimes, but those are one of the opportunities where you can grow the most! I believe everyone has the right to define their own lives and how they want that to look, so I want to work with you to make that come true.
