Professional statement

Izzy believes that the therapeutic relationship can provide meaningful support and guidance to one’s healing and mental health journey. She believes that how someone presents themselves to others, interacts with the world around them, and how one goes through their lived experiences is the starting point for therapeutic progress.

Izzy works with psychodynamic and relational approaches to support clients when diving below the surface to explore their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and traumas that may be impacting their everyday lives.

Message to clients

In the mental health community, we highlight the importance of creating a "safe space" for our clients. It is important to me that you know that our "space" is unique to you. I do not see therapy as a one size fits all mentality and believe that every session is your time to share what is on your mind, what has been bothering you, and what thoughts and feelings have been lingering in your mind. I will support you through your ups and downs, and most importantly help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you. Together, we will create a relationship that is grounded in trust, respect, and vulnerability.
