Professional statement

Jacqueline is a licensed professional counselor who truly enjoys working with women; listening, being present, and help develop a more positive outlook on life. She was drawn to the helping profession through her love of relationships and a deep desire to understand emotional processes and healing. A wealth of life experiences provides her with the ability to understand common patterns which affect most people in their journeys.

She does this by examining thoughts and patterns affecting behavior. She believes that therapy needs to be as unique as the individual. She believes in eclectic therapy that allows the client's needs to guide the direction of the discussions. Jacqueline feels it is important to help clients find their own truths. She seeks to be that neutral ear or the mirror in which to see ourselves. Most importantly, she emphasizes self-care.

Jacqueline has a passion for emotional healing that improves relationships and the overall quality of daily experiences for individuals. Jacqueline appreciates, enjoys, and celebrates differences and uniqueness as individuals without judgment.

Message to clients

We are resilient! Sometimes, however, we face challenging relationships and transitions as we move through life. We are the ones who seem to do it all for everyone around us…home, work, and family. Our own care is often last on the list at the end of the day. I have learned that if we don't take care of ourselves, we are not the best we can be for others. I want to help others prioritize that care while improving their relationships and transitions in life.

We can struggle with how we relate to others including our partner, children, parents, siblings, friends, and co-workers. We can feel stuck in the same cycle and not know how to improve our communication. Life can throw transitions in front of us that are difficult to navigate through.

I have been in similar shoes and continue to face the twists and turns of life head-on. I have worked with others who are strong and amazing over the years who fight to do the same.

I can’t promise how quickly you’ll reach your goals or even if I can help, but I can promise I’ll do my best. And, if what we’re doing is not working, we’ll change it until it does or I’ll help you find someone who can help. I would love to hear from you.
