Jannedra is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in which she works with clients to improve thinking habits and behaviors. In session, Jannedra focuses on active listening to support reflection, and encourages the use of mindfulness, relaxation, and other evidenced-based strategies to promote mental health. Clients leave sessions feeling validated, grounded, and empowered with strategies to live healthier lives.

Jannedra's style is warm, engaging, and conversational. When clients first start therapy, she listens to understand their background and unique needs and works to help them feel safe and supported. Jannedra encourages use of evidenced-based strategies to help her clients feel relief and improve their functioning.

Jannedra earned her Master's degree in Community Mental Health Counseling in 2013. She has worked in community-based treatment that focused on mental health and addictions treatment for adolescents and adults. In recent years, Jannedra expanded her work to private practice where she can provide individualized treatment in a more flexible setting. Jannedra is currently working on expanding her clinical training to be able to support clients with the use of tapping in therapy by the summer of 2023.

I appreciate how big of a step it is for you to come to therapy. I applaud your desire to come and allow someone to help you grow into a healthier version of yourself. I honor your individuality as a person and welcome you to share your story with me, and allow me to help you reflect and make choices to move closer to your better self.
