Professional statement

Feeling nervous or stressed is natural. When these feelings overwhelm us, we need someone to listen, to validate our concerns, and to help us get to the root of our problems with tools that will inspire hope, and help us regain control of our lives.

I help Adults and Teens address panic, anxiety, depression, grief, fear, and issues related to sexuality, life changes, anger issues, bullying, shame, and dating. Unique to my methods is the ability to teach you how to rewire your brain to greet difficult experience with kindness, instead of fear and anxiety.

In my practice, I use the 4C Method: Collaboration, Connection, Compassion, and Change. It draws from these evidence-based treatments: Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Cognitive-Behavioral, Attachment, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Creative Therapies. Together, we will come up with a focused plan that addresses your unique needs with sensitivity, compassion, and precision.

Message to clients

The challenges we face in life can leave us emotionally bruised, beaten, and even defeated, but I believe that within all of our vulnerabilities lies a hidden strength. If we can identify these vulnerabilities and process them with undivided attention and compassion, we can better understand how they impact us.

In my therapy practice, I not only seek to help you find your hidden strengths, but also help you develop positive core values, so that you can understand yourself and what you want in life. I have found that this approach can give you the confidence needed to make decisions that uniquely forge your own path of well-being.
