You may be feeling emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer make sense — even if you’ve tried therapy before. I work with adults and couples who want deeper, lasting change, not just short-term coping strategies. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside while carrying anxiety, emotional exhaustion, or disconnection internally. Our work is collaborative, steady, and paced to your nervous system — never rushed, forced, or overwhelming.
My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a gentle, evidence-informed model that helps clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves, such as anxious, self-critical, or emotionally shut-down parts. Rather than fighting these reactions, we work to understand their protective roles and reduce the burden they carry, often leading to greater clarity, emotional relief, and long-term change.
I also work with couples seeking to improve communication, emotional safety, and connection. Couples sessions are structured to support two people at once and may move at a different pace than individual therapy to allow space for relational repair and understanding.
With over a decade of clinical experience, I have worked with individuals and couples from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park, with specialized training in trauma therapy, Internal Family Systems, and couples counseling. I offer therapy in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
I provide in-person therapy in Cabin John, Maryland, and virtual sessions for clients across the state. My goal is to support emotional balance, self-understanding, and healthier relationships, helping clients move forward with greater clarity and a renewed sense of possibility.
