Message to clients

When you have ADHD, it’s common to compare yourself to others and think, “Why is X so simple for them, and so hard for me?” You often feel messy and disorganized. You tend to feel like others are annoyed when you “talk too much.” People have labeled you “lazy” or think you have a poor work ethic, but you actually work really hard, and it’s super frustrating that they can’t see that.

It’s incredibly challenging to be a person with ADHD in a world that functions as though we’re all neurotypical. What you maybe don’t realize is that you actually have a ton of skills and coping mechanisms that have enabled you to make it this far. You’ve had to do everything that is expected of you and everyone else, but with a disadvantage. You’re actually amazing.

At Julia Beecher-Flad Therapy, I turn your ADHD from a flaw into a superpower. With 10 years of experience and specialized training in several evidence-based and trauma-focused modalities, I guide adults through overcoming shame and leveraging their unique strengths. Let's transform how you see your ADHD and boost your self-esteem together.
