Professional statement

There is great importance in understanding suffering, there is not a single person who has not experienced pain, it is a condition of living. Humans are meaning-making creatures. Through existential therapy, parts of each individuals lives can be examined. Each facet of an individual's life and self contribute to overall health. In the counseling process, it is vital to explore all parts of self and integrate them to restore balance. Each life stage brings about different joys and different losses, it can be destabilizing not knowing or understanding what is happening in these different stages, which is where counseling can be of great significance.

Some of the specialities that KE Counseling focuses on are grief and loss, anxiety, depression, attachment and couples work, and end of life issues.

We do have internship student who also offer sliding scale through our practice and offers sessions for individuals and couples.

Message to clients

I am a Colorado native who is passionate about holistic health. When I became a counselor I decided that I wanted to understand others suffering and value them as a whole person. Part of my core belief is that each facet of your life and self contribute to your overall health. In the counseling process, I try to explore with you all parts of self and integrate them to restore balance and help you to achieve your goals. I believe that your story holds value, meaning, and purpose. Victor Frankl said it best, "The meaning of my life is to help others find meaning in theirs". I hold that statement close to my heart and devote my practice to this.
