Professional statement

Kelsey works primarily from a person-centered approach, while also pulling from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), existential, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Clients often benefit from a more diverse approach, so Kelsey aims to provide each client with the best care tailored specifically to them. She likes getting to know her clients and their interests and welcomes clients bringing songs, paintings, sculptures, books, and other meaningful art into sessions to help express their thoughts and feelings.

Message to clients

My goal is to help you feel confident and supported, while encouraging you to make the best decisions for yourself. I aim to provide honesty and education where I can but trust that you know yourself best. We can use body movement and artistic expression to enhance our work together in addition to our talk therapy.

I want to empower you with the tools you need to overcome your challenges and face your fears. While you may feel alone in the world, you aren’t! I can help you build a strong supportive network, including myself, to help you keep going. I know from personal experience how important taking care of your mental health is. I want to help you find and love your true self and become a better, healthier, stronger version of you.
