Professional statement

I received my Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work. I am passionate about encouraging self-awareness and promoting self-growth. I believe strongly in the human capacity for change and use many avenues to help you foster the changes you wish to see in your life.

My practice is from a trauma-informed approach, recognizing how trauma may have impacted your beliefs, reactions, and behaviors. I hold positive, unconditional regard in the therapy room and believe in a collaborative therapeutic process that caters to your needs. I utilize skills from various modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).

I believe in maintaining a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy. My experience includes adjustment issues, anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, and trauma.
