Professional statement

Leslie Doyle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who cares deeply about helping others feel at home within themselves. She is committed to nurturing authenticity, empowering personal growth, and walking alongside clients on their unique healing paths. Leslie works with a wide range of experiences and has a particular passion for supporting trauma survivors (including developmental, acute, and complex trauma), caregivers, military families, and individuals with foster care backgrounds. She also welcomes fellow therapists into her practice, offering a grounded and supportive space for healing and reflection.

Her approach is integrative, relational, and attuned to the whole person. Leslie blends Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, somatic therapy, creative expression, mindfulness, spiritual therapy, NARM, and EMDR to help clients access their inner wisdom and reconnect with their needs, values, and longings. By building inner safety and greater tolerance for the present moment, clients are supported in moving toward more freedom, clarity, and self-compassion.

Leslie brings a rich and varied background to her therapeutic work. In addition to her clinical training in Counseling Psychology, she holds certifications in Trauma-Informed Yoga, Ayurvedic Wellness, and Herbalism, and has professional experience in higher education, sustainable living, and the arts. Her presence is warm, grounded, and inclusive—offering clients the opportunity to engage in therapy that honors their full complexity.

Leslie currently offers remote sessions to adult clients in Colorado, Washington, and Florida. She is based in Basalt, Colorado, just outside of Aspen, and works exclusively via telehealth. She offers a free, no-pressure consultation to help prospective clients explore whether working together feels like the right fit. Leslie works with private pay clients and provides superbills for those seeking out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
