Lynn Zakeri is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with offices in Skokie and Northfield, IL (and the recipient of the NASW-IL Social Worker of the Year award!) A seasoned clinician, she welcomes adolescents and adults across the lifespan, with expertise in anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Lynn especially enjoys working with clients in the midst of formative life transitions, such as entering or graduating college and becoming a parent, when old challenges may reemerge and come to a head.
Lynn works with clients to address not only their most pressing symptoms, but also the root causes that may lie beneath the surface. She uses a two-pronged approach to equip clients with new coping strategies and change unhelpful thought patterns while also taking a deep dive into how early experiences inform their view of themselves and others.
Lynn makes her clients feel at ease the moment they walk through the door. She is passionate about the work she does and looks forward to supporting you as you take the first step towards change. Outside of private practice, she is an elected board member of the National Association of Social Workers’ local chapter, and is dedicated to furthering her continued education on best-practice approaches on a regular basis. In addition to being a therapist, Lynn is a wife, mother, sister, and daughter.
If Lynn's availability is full, her associates have their own expertise (CADC, Art, EMDR Trauma, ED, etc) who are a part of the Lynn Zakeri LCSW Clinical Services, PLLC practice. They see clients at a reduced rate and Lynn works hard to make sure YOU find the best fit.
