Professional statement

Michele Laferte helps individuals heal from the emotional and psychological wounds that often stem from traumatic experiences. This includes single-incident trauma such as a bad car accident, or longer incidents of relational and attachment trauma. She believes in the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of therapy to bring about lasting change.

Throughout her years of training and clinical experience, she has found that EMDR is an incredibly effective and compassionate approach for those struggling with trauma. EMDR offers a safe and structured environment in which clients can process difficult memories and emotions at their own pace. Clients are able to process and integrate their experiences in a way that promotes healing, self-compassion, and empowerment.

Message to clients

I approach therapy with a deep sense of empathy and a dedication to creating a space where my clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My work as an EMDR therapist is grounded in the belief that each individual is unique, and the therapeutic relationship is collaborative and individualized. I use an integrative approach to treatment, tailoring techniques to meet the specific needs of each client.

I am inspired by the opportunity to be part of a client's healing journey, and I am constantly amazed by the profound impact that EMDR therapy can have. I am honored to support my clients in reclaiming their lives and moving forward with greater resilience, peace, and clarity.
