Message to clients

Hello and welcome! I am so excited that you are beginning to explore this next step in your mental health journey. Researching, finding, and connecting with a new therapist can be a very daunting and overwhelming process. I know this experience all too well from both personal and professional experiences. I encourage all of my clients to take their time exploring and being curious about this process. Reach out to several therapists, ask your questions, and see what feels like the best fit for you. You are the expert of your life and lived experiences. If we decide together to move forward in beginning this next step of your journey, we would set up our initial intake session that usually extends into our second session as well. Together, we will anchor into your story(ies) that bring you to this moment and how I can best help support you. We will collaboratively set goals, discuss how to best structure our time together, and continuously revisit and adjust these to make sure they are meeting your needs. I approach all of my work with individuals through a trauma-informed, narrative-based, and relational approach, and it is truly an honor and privilege to hold space with you during our work together. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns, and I look forward to hopefully connecting soon!
