Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSW Practice: Resilience LabMy style of therapy is warm and engaging with a strong focus on checking in about what’s working in your therapy and what’s not, and tailoring it accordingly. I very much value your voice as the one that matters the most in the room. I like to invite conflict and difficult emotions in, when we’re ready, and resolve them in a way that feels safer and works a little better for your life. Some weeks that means sitting with a difficult emotion, other weeks that means finding concrete strategies to tackle the struggles in your life, other weeks that means finding the good to celebrate in life, and everything in between. Our relationship is here for you. I know growth is hard. My job is to help that journey not feel so hard or lonely.
My formative training was forged while working with profoundly psychiatrically acute children, teens, families, and young adults at the Henry Ittleson Center for Child Research and Development, a residential and outpatient setting. People inherently urn for spaces where they feel accepted and safe, and my experience has allowed me to find ways of creating that in even to most difficult circumstances.
I honed my skills of assessment and intervention with children, teens, families, and young adults. Working with some of the most challenging and difficult clients has refined and informed my clinical skillset utilizing trauma-focused, DBT, CBT, psychodynamic, narrative, harm reduction, and solution-focused approaches. I hold additional experience treating couples, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and adults struggling with substance use.
Only have remote availability at present. I appreciate your patience, and I can’t wait to meet you!
