Nichole Paciello is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Providence, Rhode Island. The majority of her clients are emerging adults, and she is especially passionate about working with individuals transitioning from college into a career, including exploring questions around purpose, relational stress, time management, and perfectionism.
Nichole mainly uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to provide a directive and action-oriented approach to anxiety and depression. She works with clients to recognize cognitive distortions, maladaptive patterns they may feel stuck in, and how their thinking patterns shape their actions and contribute to depression. She often challenges her clients in a supportive and firm way through gentle nudges, while making her unconditional positive regard for them clear.
Nichole completed formal training in CBT at The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she earned her LMHC. She takes care in developing a safe space that allows clients to go out of their comfort zone at a pace that works for them. She looks forward to meeting you at her office in the Wayland neighborhood of Providence.
