Nina Bana is a Counselor Trainee at SHANNEL HAWKINS LPCC LLC | Intentional Wellness Space and a Graduate student at The Ohio State University. Nina is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. She works with adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, self-esteem difficulties, relationship concerns, and personal growth challenges. Nina strives to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Nina approaches counseling from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective, believing that each individual possesses the capacity for growth and meaningful change. She integrates evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and solution-focused interventions, while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. As a Counselor Trainee, Nina is actively developing her clinical expertise through supervised practice and advanced counseling training.
