Professional statement

As a career changer and new parent, Olivia has had extensive experience with transitions within both personal and professional sector. She is a proponent of human resilience and in each individual’s capability to self-actualize within the context of their identity.

As a therapist, Olivia has worked expansively with a broad demographic of individuals contending with substance use, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, pregnancy and post-natal mental health concerns, other women’s issues, as well as with first responders.

Olivia’s dynamic, integrated approach is warm, casual, strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and tapered to each client’s individual needs. She incorporates elements of positive psychology, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and other modalities to cater to each client’s uniqueness. She aims to provide a safe, empathic space for growth and contemplation. Olivia utilizes creativity as well as common sense wherever possible for her clients to reach their goals while respecting their readiness for change.
