Dr. Rachel Stephens is a psychologist in Virginia Beach, VA. She specializes in trauma recovery, attachment issues, and treatment of complex trauma. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University’s School of Psychology, an APA Accredited Program, in 2016.  She completed her internship at the University of Virginia (UVA) Counseling Center and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). 

Dr. Stephens runs a small private practice and is currently seeing clients both via telehealth and in-person. She does not currently accept insurance.

Whatever may be prompting you to seek out therapy right now, my goal is to help you regain a sense of wholeness and vitality in life. My approach to therapy is to explore how what you have gone through in life has impacted you, carefully drawing on your strengths and values to help you move forward. Starting therapy can be a daunting task, but take courage - hope and change and growth could be just around the corner.
