Renelle Wolff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working virtually in D.C, Florida, Texas, Virginia and Washington. She welcomes adult clients between the ages of 20 and 65 to her private practice.
Most clients who partner with Renelle are struggling with life transitions like entering or finishing advanced degree programs, starting high profile careers, new relationships/marriages and or becoming parents. These type of life transitions can increase feelings of perfectionism, panic, intrusive thoughts, overwhelming sadness, struggles with attention and negative self-talk. Clients are generally looking to explore and process these worries and thoughts and to find practical tools and solutions to have a more peaceful life.
Renelle's approach is strength-based, warm and comforting with humor appropriately sprinkled in. Renelle works with evidence based theories such as cogitative behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, solution focused and often incorporates mindfulness into sessions.
In addition to her work with individuals, Renelle works with couples who want to build lasting relationships rooted in friendship and passion. Renelle has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She also offers researched-backed courses to new parents that result in lower rates of postpartum depression, decreased likelihood of divorce and provide better marital satisfaction.
