Professional statement

Rima Danielle Jomaa is a licensed marriage and family therapist from California. She specializes in helping clients who are battling depression and anxiety to find ease and joy in their lives. Through this process, she finds they can to tune into their voice and truth. She loves to empower her clients to gain confidence so they can truly be in control of their lives in a healthy and functional way. When we take responsible for our healing, miracles and magic takes place.

Rima has a wide-array of holistic approaches that she mixes and matches for each client in a collaborative way as she gets to know them personally. She offers hypnosis and psychedelic integration as unique additions to her work.

Rima's practice is fully virtual currently as she lives full-time in the jungle of Costa Rica where she surfs 1-2 times a day. Rima understands what it's like to struggle, to sacrifice, and to live with courage and to follow one's dreams with passion. She knows it's not easy to live an honest and authentic life but she uses the tools that she teaches to her clients to actively set boundaries and communicate regularly with those around her. She works diligently on her personal development and goals to understand, learn and change her existence in a way that best suits her so she can help her clients do the same in their lives. She sees herself as a guide who helps clients tap into their intuition and inner knowing of what's best for them and then having the courage and confidence to follow the path their highest self has laid out for them. She helps clients in a way that is respectful and enjoyable as they do the difficult work of healing and shedding years of pain and trauma.

Message to clients

Therapy is a way of creating a space to help the universe help you. It's a personal investment in one's future that has the potential to not only benefit them, but those around them as well. The saying "change the world by changing yourself" comes from this idea. As we heal and learn to lead more functional relationships, we inspire and encourage others to do the same. We create that space of healing for all around us.

Working with a mental health professional creates a safe, designated, confidential space in your week for you to explore the right solutions to personal problems. My hope for clients is that, in a short amount of time, they can understand their struggles with more awareness as well as acquire practical tools to use to turn struggles into balance and growth.

Like a car, you need regular care, attention and maintenance. We look after our kids, our homes, our careers, and most of our personal possessions, but unfortunately, we're not always the best at mental, emotional & spiritual hygiene. It's definitely nothing to be ashamed of as we've all been there, myself included! Taking care of oneself is a lifestyle, not a "on in a while" luxury.

If you're committed to your healing, you can train your mind to work for you, lighten the burdens of the past, heal your heart and process old hurts to help you go from stress, anxiety and overwhelm to happy, fulfilled and in control. Don't you agree that you deserve it?
