Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, LPCC AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, AASECT Master of Science, MSSarah offers a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to addressing some of our most personal issues: those related to sex, gender, and relationships. Sexual health concerns can look like many different ways for different people. Perhaps you are considering opening your relationship to additional partners. Maybe you and your partner have very different needs when it comes to sex, and it is causing issues in your relationship. Are you seeking support around gender expression and identity? Perhaps your body is not sexually responding the way it used to, and this is causing frustration. Maybe you are experiencing pain, shame, or difficulty communicating what is going on. Whatever the challenge might be, Sarah is passionate about providing high-quality therapy to improve your sexual health.
Sarah's therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered and feminist theory. Evidence-based modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and various sex therapy strategies are the core of her practice. You will find therapy to be highly collaborative and goal-oriented, as Sarah strives to provide tools that are immediately useable. A goal-oriented approach also helps maintain focus and facilitates greater progress.
