Sarah Tedrick is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist in Happy Valley, OR. She welcomes individual adults and adolescents who are seeking to identify obstacles which are preventing them from moving forward. Many of Sarah’s clients are experiencing general or acute depression, anxiety, drug/substance use and/or feeling overwhelmed with current responsibilities, school or parenting. Sarah helps her clients to pinpoint and address unhelpful emotional, cognitive and behavioral patterns that interfering with the client’s day-to-day life.
Sarah draws on her experience with a wide range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, and Emotionally Focused. In session, she helps clients identify their emotions, learn to explore, experience and understand them so they can then learn to manage them. It is important for her to build a trusting relationship with her clients, keeping the environment welcoming and nonjudgmental.
Sarah earned her degree from Marylhurst University. It is her commitment and priority to collaborate to find a best fit approach for each client, ensuring the development of a safe space and the creation of positive change.
