Growing up in a family system that didn’t understand the importance of mental health created a desire for me to work in the Mental Health setting. In the therapist, client relationship, it’s important to have a good therapeutic relationship, so finding the right therapist is important. My approach as a therapist is predominantly from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective.
